Accessibility statement
Last reviewed September 30, 2026
Palmdale Gates should work for anyone planning a gate, on a phone or a desktop, and whether you steer by mouse, by keyboard, by screen magnifier or by screen reader. Here is what we aim for, how we check it, and what to do when something here doesn’t work for you.
What we aim for
We hold these pages to WCAG 2.1, the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and aim for Level AA. In plain terms: text you can read against its background, a visible outline on whatever you’ve tabbed to, form boxes that tell a screen reader what they’re for, and pages that stay readable when zoomed to double size.
How we check it
Each time the site is updated, every page gets run through axe, an automated accessibility scanner, at a narrow phone size and at a wide desktop size, before the update is published. The latest scan found no serious or critical issues.
A scan can’t catch everything. A hands-on review, moving through the site with only a keyboard and then with a screen reader, is planned. It hasn’t been done yet.
Something not working?
If a page, a link or the form is hard to use, send the form with “Trouble using this website” picked. Name the page and the spot where you got stuck. If you’re happy to, mention your phone or computer and any assistive tool, like a screen reader or voice control, so we can try it the same way.
When you’ll hear back
Expect a reply within 2 business days confirming your report reached us. The target for a fix is within 45 days. Should it run past that, you’ll get the reason and a new date.
The installer’s side
Palmdale Gates is a referral service. This statement is about this website and nothing past it; the gate contractor’s quotes, contracts and tools are theirs.
